C4K (Church 4 Kids)

Relove Kids is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment with age-appropriate lessons and activities to meet your little one right where they are. All Relove Kids programs place a special emphasis on your child learning the Bible, making Jesus their friend, and making friends in Jesus. To provide an AMAZING and ENRICHING experience for our kids we need an army of volunteers each week! We believe that pouring your heart into God's kids will create the next generation of Relovers who will not only have experienced the love God, but will live out the love of God in everything they do. C4K Leaders and Assistants

The teacher position is for anyone interested in and qualified for teaching C4K. This position requires; planning and teaching lesson, craft, game, snack and order of service for that week of C4K. Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

C4K Teachers Aid

The teachers aid position includes, assisting teachers with setting up, running check in station, supervising children, crafts, snacks, maintaining classroom balance, cleaning up, picking up needed supplies, etc. This position is available to anyone who wants to be a part of the children's ministry and help out at C4K whenever possible. Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

C4K Volunteer

If you have kids we’re sure you understand that you can never have enough help. During each C4K session we need additional hands to help keep the kids quiet, assist during the crafts, and simply be a helping to the leaders. Substitute Leaders & Assistants Not able to commit to serving every month but would still love to volunteer with children? We're looking for loving leaders & assistants to be a part of our Substitute Team. Substitutes can fill both planned or unplanned absences. This is a great way to bless others and grow as a volunteer!

Relove The Movement

Relove The Movement is designed to help kids ages 9-12 grow their faith, their character, and their relationships. It’s about creating an atmosphere where they can belong. We are committed to keeping them engaged during the tender season between childhood and the teen years. We encourage the Relove Preteens to be involved in everything we do from studying God’s Word to inviting friends to church.

PTC (Preteen Church) Leaders & Assistants

Our desire is to surround our preteens with spiritually mature adults who desire to see them grow and flourish in their faith. Our preteen leaders have experienced the transformational love of God, and mentor and lead our preteens to an authentic experience with Christ as well. We are looking for individuals (18 and older) who have a heart for preteens and a heart for God. The PTC leaders and assistants are responsible for planning the weekly lessons and activities, as well as creating a culture of spiritual development in this ministry. Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

PTC Small Group Leaders

At the heart of creating a meaningful experience with God for our preteens is connecting. Preteens connecting with each other and connecting with God. The way we connect is through weekly small groups. If you have a heart for preteens, and desire to assist them in their journey towards God then serving as one of our small group leaders may be perfect for you. Whether it’s Saturday morning or one day throughout the week, you will help plan and organize the small group meetings where Relove preteens will connect with each other as they grow closer to God. Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule.

PTC Worship Leaders

During our PTC worship experience we are always looking for gifted musicians and song leaders who are passionate about worship and have a heart for Relove youth. If you desire to be a part of this PTC worship experience twice a month, we could use your musical gifts and voice. Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Next Ministry

Relove’s Next Ministry is committed to nurturing the spiritual development of our youth by instilling in them the fundamental understanding of what being next means for their walk with God. The Lord, Our God, is first, and we are Next; each of us unworthy of His Love, but desired by Him nonetheless. Being next is the anticipation and promise of things to come. Our youth will be our next members and families, our next volunteers, leaders, elders, and pastors. When the World asks our youth “Who’s next?,” Relove Next Ministry will say “I am”.

Next Leader & Assistant

The Leader and Assistant position is for any who has a passion for leading, mentoring, and coaching youth ages 13-18. This position requires; planning lessons and activities for the weekly service, and an annual mission trip. Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule. Next Volunteer We need help on Saturday Mornings from 9:30-11am. As a Saturday Morning Volunteer, you will spend time interacting with students ages 13-18. You will greet students as they come onto campus. You will lead, or co-lead, a small group of students. And don’t worry, all training and curriculum material for the small group meeting will be provided. Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule. As the program grows, we’ll need help for occasional Friday or Saturday evenings to lead out or chaperone social and vespers events.

Outreach

Relove Church is dedicated to engaging our radius through service to our community. God's word is very clear about how his people should treat the poor, the hungry, the sick, the widow, the orphan, the poor, the powerless, and we strive to live that out in our community through action, advocacy, and education. We are looking for people who are interested in learning more about what God says about justice and mercy and carrying that out through sustainable initiatives and partnerships. Outreach Leader & Assistant

Our outreach leaders are dedicated to the call on God's people to do justice and love mercy. We are looking for people who are willing to lead team members in the planning and carrying out of our different projects. From leading the Laundry Love team once a month, to organizing the Goldenwest Community College Prayer Walk, to even leading out in a project of your own that you’d like Relove to partner with there are several opportunities to choose from. Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule.

Outreach Team Member

Outreach team members are also dedicated to doing justice and loving mercy, and meet with their fellow team members and team leader to plan and carry out our various projects that are in alignment with that mission. Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule.

Discipleship

At the heart of experience the Love of God is growing in your understanding and experience with that love. Join us in helping those new to faith experience real growth and those more mature in faith to keep their passion for God’s unique call for their life alive. We have many opportunities for serving. Come help us make a difference.

Life Groups

If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus, you need to have intentional relationships with people who have the same goal—and at Relove, Life Groups are the ideal place for that. In a Life Group, four to twelve adults in the same stage of life and area of town meet regularly for a year or more to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships. You’ll be encouraged to live out the truths you discover in the Bible as you encourage others to do the same. We have a group for you!

Life Group Facilitator

Life Group facilitator is the chief organizer of the life group. Joining this ministry team will have you leading weekly small group discussions, attending quarterly facilitator meetings, and taking attendance of those who attend your Life Group. Commitments are once a week for 9-12 weeks. But don’t worry, we will help you identify the curriculum that will best suit your group.

Life Group Host

Critical to a positive Life Group experience is having a clean and comfortable environment to gather. If you desire to participate in the Life Group experience by opening up your home, then this is the ministry for you. Opportunities generally require access to your home once-a-week for a period of 9-12 weeks.

Saturday Morning Bible Study Facilitator

Every Saturday morning we offer an adult bible study class from 10-10:50am. If you love studying the bible and leadings others to better understand the truths of God’s word, then we would invite you to join this ministry. Bible study materials will be provided. Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Prayer Partners

At Relove we are always looking for people to pray for those who come for prayer and encouragement after weekend services. Prayer partners are asked to stay an additional 15 minutes after service to pray and encourage those who need prayer.

Step 1 Discovery Facilitator

Every week we have individuals who make a decision to follow Christ and get baptized. To lead them in this decision we have six bible studies that we like to have with them. They include studies on Jesus, righteousness by faith, the new covenant, baptism, the Sabbath, and what it means to be a member of the kingdom of Heaven. If you enjoying teaching others the bible and would like to join this team, we’d love to have. And don’t worry, training will be provided! Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule.

Step 2 Understanding Facilitator

As new members grow in their understanding of God’s unique call on their life, we also like to lead them to better understand what it means to be a Seventh-day Adventist and a member of Relove Church. Volunteering as a Step 2 Facilitator will give you the opportunity to share the heart and mission of Relove Church with new members. Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Step 3 Connection Facilitator

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help new members better understand their spiritual gifts and how they can use them to impact the community. This process includes sharing with the new member the role and importance of spiritual gifts, having the him/her fill out an online assessment, reviewing the results with them, and then sharing with them the ministry opportunities available at Relove Church. And don’t worry, you will definitely be trained! Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Step 4 Team Building Facilitator

Great teamwork is the result of intentional training, working on team chymistry, and having a clear understanding of everyone’s roll on the team. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to orient new team members on the ends and outs of the Relove ministry teams. This includes teaching some of the basics of our church management system, breaking down the Relove Way, explaining the flow of communication, and how we resolve conflict as a church. And don’t worry, you will definitely be trained! Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Step 5 Leadership Development Facilitator

At the core of discipleship is leadership development, and at the core of leadership development is discipleship. These two are inseparable, and at Relove we understand that you can’t have one without the other. We are looking for volunteers who have a heart and passion for leadership development, and what to help us create a culture where every member is developed to be a high impact leader. But don’t worry, you will definitely be trained! Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Step 6 Mission Launch Team

Join the Mission Launch Team by helping to create and identify opportunities in our community and around the world for Relove members to fulfill their missional calling by volunteering on short-term mission projects. And again, don’t worry, you will definitely be trained! Opportunities to serve are 1-2 times per month depending on your schedule.

Production & Worship

Come and join the team that controls everything we see and hear during our Saturday morning worship experience! Whether you're a seasoned musician or interested in working behind the scenes, we have a place for you. Visit our… to begin being a blessing to others.

Camera Crew

Recording our weekly services is an important role! The Camera Crew runs the video on screens and records our weekly services. No experience? We'll train. Schedule is 1-2 weekends a month.

Lighting Operator

Lighting operators control all theatrical and house lighting for the entire venue during service. Lighting cues are pre-programmed by a designer, but training is provided so you can make on-the-fly adjustments to specific cues or the live look of the room. Schedule is 1-2 weekends a month.

Media Operator

Do you love worship but don't want to help lead from the stage? Our media operators control the lyrics that are displayed on screens. Those lyrics are an integral part of the worship experience. Training is provided for displaying lyrics, videos, slideshows and lower third overlays. Schedule is 1-2 weekends a month.

Audio Operator

We’re looking for volunteers who are willing to work with the Audio Team during the worship service. The Audio Operator will oversees all elements of audio production during the service. Training will definitely be provided. Schedule is 1-2 weekends a month.

Stage Manager

The stage manager is an important production role. The stage manager is the eyes and ears of the producer on the stage and backstage. You'll be corralling up the band before services, sending the band or pastor on stage on the producer's cue, and setting or striking podiums/tables. Schedule is 1-2 weekends a month.

Worship Team Musician

We are a community of artists and technicians who use our gifts and talents as a means to reach the unreached and make our world different. Requirements: skill & heart to serve in this type of leadership position; available for 8am Saturday morning rehearsals and 11am worship service when scheduled; open to learning; must have a reasonable command of the instrument played; and must be able to read chord charts. Auditions by appointment only.

Saturday Morning Set-Up

Calling all early birds! A few hours on Saturday mornings at between 6:30-8:30am you will help unload media equipment from storage and set it up in the sanctuary. You will also assist with making sure chairs, seatback materials, patio furniture, and outdoor church signage is in place and ready to go. You will need to be in physical shape to allow you to repetitively walk up and down steps.

Saturday Morning Tear-down

Not an early bird, but you love church and are willing to lend a helping hand? We could use your skills Saturday afternoons from 1-2pm to tear down the media equipment, chairs, patio equipment, and outdoor church signage. Many hands make light work, so don’t hesitate to bring a friend.

Communion Prep

Easy entry level volunteer opportunity. We are looking for individuals or couples to help prepare communion for all services. This preparation is dispensing cups and juice into communion trays and arranging them in the refrigerator by service and need. The schedule is a few hours a quarter on a rotating basis.

Baptismal Prep

This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for someone who likes to work behind the scenes but also enjoys connecting with people on a personal level. We need volunteers who will assist the baptismal candidates once they arrive on campus on the day of their baptism. This includes showing them where to change, what to expect, answering any questions they may have, and calming any fears they may be battling.

Connections Tent Volunteer

Every week we have roughly 10-15 first time guest. If you love meeting new people we would love for you to volunteer at our Connections Tent which is responsible for receiving our first time guest’s information and making them feel loved and Reloved. Opportunities to serve are 2-4 times per month depending on your schedule.

Worship Service Greeters & Ushers

Do you enjoy people? If so, you are invited to be a part of our First Impressions Team as a greeter and usher. Greeters are asked to come 20 minutes early for their weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly duty (depending on the schedule you choose), and to warmly greet our Relove guest and help them find a seat if needed.

Hospitality Leader & Assistant

Nothing makes for good fellowship like good food. And at Relove, we love good food. Each month we have a fellowship meal together as a church that requires the collaboration of many volunteers. If you like working in the kitchen and organizing good meals, we would love for you to join this team.

Hospitality Set-up/Clean-up Crew

The cooks never clean! So we’re calling all non-cooks to help us set-up and tear-down our monthly fellowship meal. This includes setting up/tearing down tables and chairs, sweeping floors, washing dishes, and whipping counters. It’s nothing glamorous, but SO important. If you don’t mind rolling of your sleeves once a month to bust some suds or break down a few tables, we’d love to have you join this team.

Hydration Station Leader & Assistant

Every week we provide light hydration for the Relove family and friends. This station includes a refreshing drink, light refreshments, and warm smile. If you would like to assist us in managing, stocking, and setting up the hydration station we would love to have you on this team. Opportunities to serve are 1-4 times per month depending on your schedule.

Communications

From live tweeting events to graphic design, communications is a fun team that strives to creatively connect Relove with our community. Visit our… to begin being a blessing to others.

Social Media Writer

Do you enjoy and specialize in posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest? Or are you a jack-of-all-trades who is able to write content for all of the above? Then this is just for you! This ministry team does require a basic understanding of social media websites, and/or a deeper understanding of the various websites and their nuances to most effectively reach the most amount of people.

Graphic Designer

The Graphic Design Volunteer will design content for marketing, branding and our Internet presence. They will conceptualize, design and create mockups, from small enhancements to entirely new concepts. Projects will vary based on availability and experience.
